Description
Looe is a small coastal town, fishing port and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England. Looe is 20 miles west of Plymouth and seven miles south of Liskeard, divided in two by the River Looe, East Looe and West Looe being connected by a bridge or a small ferry when the tide is right.
Looe centres around a small harbour & along the steep-sided valley of the River Looe which flows between East and West Looe to the sea beside a sandy beach. This image also shows the very first Banjo Pier.
