Description
The B3357 road across Dartmoor, near to Princetown. There is a beautiful curve in the road which is the leading line to the Rendlestone Pump House. The Pump House, which was built during the late 1930s for a water pumping station and reservoir has been unmanned and disused now for the last 15 years. But it is a great subject to photograph at any distance.

Hi Maggie, your photo is a perfect capture of the pump house and its surrounding otherworldly landscape. I am an artist-printmaker and purchased the building a few years ago! It’s very run down but, in a humble way, i hope to put some windows in this year and start painting the magnificent views. Give me a couple of years and perhaps you might like to photograph from the inside looking out? All the best, Rowlie (in Totnes)
