Description
The Grade II-listed Pimple was built in 1914 on the edge of Dartmoor on Whitchurch Down, near Tavistock, by Sir Edwin Lutyens, for the Duke of Bedford.
Its name comes from the stone apex at the top of its roof. It is built of Hurdwick stone with a slate roof. Wooden benches are set into its walls so that people could visit and enjoy the stunning views over Dartmoor and into Cornwall. This little building was built over the entrance on top of a reservoir on Whitchurch Down, Dartmoor Tavistock, Devon, which served Bedford estate houses.

Visual joy, powerful spectrum of blues, awesome gradient all the way down to a whole new shade of a blue door on the horizon and a magical hue, so the image is a three tone dream.
