Built in 1892, Leader, (a heritage trawler) is a Brixham sailing trawler & belongs to the Trinity Sailing Foundation. Leader, is a rare survivor of the type of fishing vessels known as Brixham trawlers which, although of West Country origin, became the mainstay of the British fishing fleet. Brixham is a small fishing town & civil parish in the district of Torbay in the county of Devon. Brixham is at the southern end of Torbay, across the bay from Torquay. Fishing & tourism are the major industries of the town. The town is hilly & built around the harbour which remains in use as a dock for fishing trawlers & pleasure boats. Tall Ship moored at Brixham.
